For those just curious about who I am: My name is Aaron Hawkins, I was born in 1978. I'm married to a sweet yet feisty little French woman who I met during my travels. We have a 18 month old daughter who is the light of our life. On a personal level that's all I care to share with perfect strangers for the moment.

Now, every once in a while I get asked about my background, or my credentials, or my expertise, usually from the angle of validation or credibility, or in an attempt to figure out what kind of label to attach to me. This is understandable since our culture has trained people to judge information on the merits of the the messenger rather than on the the validity of the information itself. However, this is not the paradigm that I am operating from, and I have no interest in adorning myself with such labels and categorizations just in order to make people more comfortable.

So for those who want to know want to see my credentials, or want to know my views my answer is this: The ideas that I present here on this site and in my videos should speak themselves, and they either stand on their own or they don't. If you would believe an idea based on someone's credentials then you are a fool, and if you would disregard a fact because of messenger has been given a label you don't like, then your are also a fool. That's blunt, but it's the truth.

Now whatever the case may be, the last thing you want to do is to send me an email asking me to reassure you about who I am, what boxes I fit into, or what my credentials are. I have zero interest in reassuring you. I really and truly don't give a rat's ass whether you approve of me, or like me, or are concerned that I might fit a certain label that scares you, and I have no qualms about making that clear. I'm not running for president, I'm not looking for a flock of adoring followers, and I don't appreciate being interrogated as if I needed to measure up for such a role. If you are looking for a new place to put your blind faith you are barking up the wrong tree. If me saying this keeps a even a few immature individuals out of my inbox then this page has served its purpose.
