and for a population to enter into one without fully understanding what is at stake
is much like handing a loaded 45 automatic to a toddler.

@TheSoothsayer - I agree, (for the most part). This video makes numerous excellent points. Where I might add a point of contention, I'd say that the SOURCE of the desire for "government reform" lies in the fact that government SHOULD be a servant of the people, for to keep the peace when necessary; and, in particular, to tame the corporate/banking Elite that gets too powerful.
I mean, how else are we going to re-dress this imbalance? You say "revolution." Okay, but how about after that? The problem, as I see it, is not with government reform, per se, but the fact that the "well-intentioned" reforms of the past did not go far enough to control the Elite; and/or these reforms were used by the Elite as a clever way to put us back to sleep while advancing their power.
While recognizing that our present form of government has been bought and paid for by the Elite, we also need to advance a new, better grassroots form of government with which we can establish some balance of powers between, respect for diversity, and so on.
Beyond that point, this video is an excellent, sober presentation. Very refreshing to see.

This is perfect. People must realize that trying to "fix" or "reform" the current system is not the solution and it never will be. We cannot make something that is inherently corrupt into a fair and equitable system. People must face the truth that a complete redesign of our society is needed in order to overcome the problems that we are confronted with in today's world. Moving from a monetary system to a resource-based economy is the only sane and rational solution to our problems and it is time that people realize and embrace this.

And yet, we cannot have government without tax, unless you're seriously suggesting privatized police & fire & medicine, 100% incorporated utilities, and volunteer "government" inspectors to enforce rules on their off-time etc. Anarchy, like many forms of society can be made to sound like a wonderful alternative, until you view their reality (ala Somalia).
You sir are where so many of us need to be, but not all things will be legislative because it is filled by the idea of false law. We need to know well our own Rule of law.
Who are the deciding and who are producing ideas are one in the same. All life by this statement have the will to generate ideas as well decide, thus a basic principal of ourselves for which to decide upon. Knowing ourselves, our capacities, how to generate great choice becomes prime factors in the creation of great ideas instead of failed ones left behind.
