Most people have no idea what happens to animals before they reach their plates in their neat processed form. If you are coming to this page you must be stronger than most people, because truthfully most people simply don't want to know.

Knowing the truth bears with it a certain responsibilty. Please don't push this out of your mind. This is an on going reality for farm animals all over the world. Stop contributing to it. Stop eating meat.

For most people the images in this film will be shocking. The reality of the animal industry is not pretty, but not knowing about it only makes it worse. After all, if you don't know that something is wrong, why would you be motivated to change?

It takes 25 minutes to turn a live steer into steak at the modern slaughterhouse where Ramon Moreno works. For 20 years, his post was “second-legger,” a job that entails cutting hocks off carcasses as they whirl past at a rate of 309 an hour.

The cattle were supposed to be dead before they got to Moreno. But too often they weren’t.

Speciesism is the final and most deeply accepted form of discrimination in our culture. Speciesism assumes that humanity is set apart from the animal world, but nothing could be farther from the truth. Humans (aka homo sapiens sapiens) are and will always be bound by genetic lineage to squirrels apes and fish.

Do you really want to know where your meat, dairy, and eggs come from? Take the blue pill and you can stay in the illusion of quaint family farms, take the red pill and wake up to the reality of modern idustrial factory farming.
