Predicting the end of the age of oil can be a sticky business. The Association for the Study of Peak Oil and Gas (Aspo), a collection of industry figures, politicians and academics, this week held its annual meeting at the Gulbenkian Museum in Lisbon.

From quiet beginnings three years ago, Aspo is no longer just "bubbling under" in being taken seriously. Delegates had to squeeze past no fewer than 10 documentary crews, a nest of television cameras and a phalanx of reporters just to grab their seat in the packed auditorium.

Cheney is a smart guy. He keeps Bush in the front lines taking the insults and fumbling over his lines, but there should be no question who's running things.

In this interview broadcast on C-Span in 1994 Cheney lays out the scenario of what would happen if we took out Saddam Hussein. He predicted our current situation to the t.

There were no surprises in Iraq. Cheney knew exactly what he was getting us into and yet he did it anyway.

Taking over third world countries for fun and profit!

With the stunning success achieved by the Bush administration in Iraf, it's surprising that the liberation of this little known country between Iraq and Iran has received so little attention.

"It's actually become something of a problem..." political analyst Peter Finch stated when we interviewed him. "With so many countries in the middle east eagerly waiting for us to liberate them, we just can't afford to fund what amounts to extended vacations for thousands of American soldiers."

"Ordering a troop withdrawal would reek havoc on moral." Said a high ranking military official speaking on the condition of anonymity. "The troops just don't want to leave."

With Bush set to start promoting his plan to oust the blood thirsty Czar of Tajikistan early next year, many believe that he may face difficulty convincing the American public that conquering another third world country could possibly be as fun as Iraf was.

"I think this is a perfect example of how the liberal media likes to spin the news." Said Rush Limbaugh in a recent show. "Iraf is proof that taking over other countries for no reason can be both fun and profitable, there's no reason Tajikistan would be any exeption, but all the liberals want to do is focus on the negative."

Experts predict oil will peak in 2008

The world's oil production may be about to reach its peak - forever. Such apocalyptic prophecies often surface in the middle of the northern hemisphere winter. What is unusual is that this time the doomsday scenario has gained serious credibility among respected analysts and commentators.

So serious that a network of scientists affiliated with European institutions and universities has formed the Association for the Study of Peak Oil and Gas (Aspo) with a mandate "to determine the date and impact of the peak and decline of the world's production of oil and gas, due to resource constraints".

Aspo's current best guess, shown in the accompanying graph, is that oil production will peak in 2008. Other analysts reckon the peak will be in about 10 years, but it's hard to find many experts who do not agree that world oil supply is going into decline some time soon.

The second plane that struck the World Trade Center Building was photographed from multiple angles, and from every angle there is object visible on the bottom aircraft that does not exist on a normal 767.

That's not a minor detail, that means that the aircraft in question was entirely different model. In fact the plane that struck the WTC tower was not a commercial airliner at all.

It just so happens that this type of object is common on the bottom of military aircraft. The Airforce E-8C for example.

Proof of American involvement in Iraq genocides

The Bush administration did a good job of convincing the American public of how evil and dangerous Saddam Hussein was, but as you will see in the following video, the United States not only knew about Saddam's genocides and human rights abuses, we actually encouraged them and even helped him carry it out.

Depleted Uranium weapons still used by the United States in Iraq

Depleted Uranium, also known as DU, is nuclear waste metal. Uranium is extremely dense and extremely heavy which makes it ideal for anti-tank rounds, but it is also radioactive, and upon impact radioactive dust from a DU bullet is spread in every direction and it can take centuries to dissipate.

You might find it hard to believe, but depleted uranium is still being used by the United States military. The United States Government has tried to play ignorant as to the cause of Gulf War Syndrom, but they good and well what caused it, and it wasn't Saddam's chemical weapons. It was our chemical weapons.

It's amazing that this man managed to get through their careful crowd screening process, but then again he is a CIA analyst, so he doesn't exactly fit the description of the raving anti-war protesters that they are no doubt on the lookout for.
