In spite of the overwhelming evidence of a cover up at the Pentagon, the attack on the World Trade Center Buildings seems at first glance to be an open and shut case. We all saw the planes hit. We all saw the buildings fall.
What's the point of questioning it? The official story of the World Trade Center "pancake collapse" seems perfectly reasonable from a distance; that is until you check the math.
Let's look at the velocity at which the World Trade Center buildings fell. One of the buildings fell in approximately 10 seconds, while the other in approximately 8 seconds. (This is by official accounts) you can click here to verify for yourself
All it takes is simple high school physics to prove that something isn't right.
The formula for calculating the time an object will take to reach the ground from a given distance with no resistance (not even air) is as follows:
s = 16t2
S=feet and t = seconds. Now the heights of the world trade center buildings were 1368 feet for the north tower and 1362 for the south tower. Let's plug that in for "s" and see what we get.
1362=16t2
divide by 16 on both sides: 85.125=t2
find the square root of 85.125 to solve for t
and your answer is: t= 9.226 seconds for the south tower and 9.246 seconds for the north tower.
This is math folks, not opinion.
Now keep in mind that this calculation is for an object falling in
vacuum. That means zero resistance. Even air would slow this down
slightly. Now what about 100,000 tons of specially treated steel woven
together in a sophisticated grid? That's quite a bit of resistance. The World Trade Center buildings were over engineered specifically to withstand such an impact!
So how could the World Trade Center buildings have fallen as quickly as they did?
One simple answer: Explosives. Only explosives would allow the building to collapse faster than the speed of a falling object by pushing it down from above. If you watch the video footage below of the buildings falling in slow motion you can clearly see explosives being set off in a series.
